Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using SEO Toolz at https://seotoolz.app (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

SEO Toolz is a SaaS platform that provides competitor keyword research, gap analysis, rank tracking, and SEO audit tools for digital agencies and freelancers. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Account registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service.
  • One person or organisation may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable.
  • Free trials (where offered) automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for unused time.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to crawl websites in a manner that violates their terms of service or causes undue server load.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Service’s access controls.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission.
  • Use automated scripts to create accounts or access the Service beyond normal usage.

6. Google Search Console integration

If you choose to connect your Google Search Console account, you authorise SEO Toolz to access your Search Console data in read-only mode. We use this data solely to display analytics within your dashboard. You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or within the Service.

7. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all data and content you add to the Service (keywords, project data, reports). You grant us a limited licence to process and store this data to provide the Service. SEO Toolz and its underlying software remain the intellectual property of SEO Toolz.

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEO Toolz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
